ABOUT THE ROLE


The Assistant Regional Sales Manager (Precious Metals) supports the development and execution of strategies to drive growth and profitability in the trading sector. This role building and maintaining client relationships, expanding existing business with current clients and coordinating with internal teams to enhance operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include market negotiating contracts, client engagement and ensuring client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen understanding of trading dynamics.

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Support the Sales team in managing the existing client portfolio based in the HQ.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries.
  • Provide quotes and close deals with clients in UAE, the Middle East, Europe, the UK, and India.
  • Understand and promote the current product/service offerings to increase client wallet share.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and respond to customer queries promptly.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer service is consistently delivered.
  • Maintain and analyze client databases and analytics.
  • Regularly meet with existing clients to address their needs and requirements.
  • Be self-motivated, take initiative, and actively contribute to the sales team.
  • Measure performance through KPIs, focusing on client volume and profitability.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of proven experience in business development or sales within the precious metals sector.

REQUIRED SKILLS


  • Strong understanding of trading dynamics and market trends, particularly in UAE, Middle East, Europe, United Kingdom, and India.
  • Excellent skills in building and maintaining client relationships; experience in managing a client portfolio.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to provide quotes, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Strong analytical abilities for market analysis, proposal preparation, and client portfolio management.
  • Proven ability to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address client queries effectively.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a sales team and coordinate with internal teams.
  • Experience in maintaining databases and analytics related to client portfolios.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and data analytics.
  • Track record of meetings and exceeding KPIs related to client volumes and profitability.
