Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Craft and innovate a diverse range of baked goods, including artisanal breads, pastries, and confections, ensuring each item meets the highest standards of quality and creativity.
  • Develop and test new recipes, adjusting ingredients and techniques to achieve desired flavors and textures while maintaining consistency in production.
  • Manage inventory of baking supplies, ensuring timely replenishment and minimizing waste through effective stock management and ordering processes.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the bakery, including staff supervision, training, and scheduling to maintain an efficient and motivated team.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Formal culinary education in baking and pastry arts, typically a diploma or degree from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a professional bakery or pastry kitchen, showcasing a solid understanding of baking techniques.
  • Certifications such as Certified Master Baker or similar credentials that demonstrate expertise and commitment to the profession.
  • Experience in high-volume production environments, capable of maintaining quality standards under pressure.
