Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Craft exceptional coffee beverages using high-quality beans and precise brewing methods, ensuring each cup meets our high standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and seating area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Engage with customers to provide personalized service, accurately taking orders and offering recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Handle cash and electronic payments efficiently, ensuring accurate transactions and managing the cash register responsibly.
  • Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans and supplies, placing orders as needed to prevent shortages and ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare and serve food items, ensuring they are presented attractively and meet quality standards.
  • Train new baristas on equipment usage, coffee preparation techniques, and customer service protocols to maintain consistency.
  • Participate in promotions and events to showcase new products and enhance customer engagement.
  • Stay informed about coffee trends and methods, continually seeking knowledge to enhance skills and customer offerings.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment, fostering teamwork and open communication.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality or food service is a plus.

  • 1-2 years of barista experience or relevant customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.

  • Fluency in English; additional language proficiency is an advantage for diverse customer interaction.

  • Strong customer service skills, with an emphasis on creating memorable experiences for patrons.

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in beverage preparation.

  • Excellent communication skills for effective interactions with customers and team members.

  • A passion for coffee culture and a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

  • Physical stamina and dexterity to handle a fast-paced work setting, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy items.
