Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
OBJECTIVE
The Boutique Manager is accountable for the boutiques overall success. This includes being an ambassador of the Maison, achieving sales targets, ensuring operational excellence, and cultivating a high-
performing dynamic team, to achieve the Maison s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Ambassador & Client Service:
- Champion the Maison s culture internally and externally
- Ensure the highest level of client experience and client selling ceremony
- Support the sales team with after-sales services
- Build a network of influential individuals to foster client loyalty, especially with VIP clients
- Ensure the boutique environment reflects the Maison s vision
- Keep the team informed on best practice, products, and Maison information
- Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to drive traffic and expand the client database
- Participate in setting objectives and take appropriate action to achieve them
- Stay informed about the local market, competitors, and luxury retail trends
- Recommend improvements to improve performance
- Demonstrate sales and people leadership
- Coach, motivate and challenge the team to achieve sales and productivity goals through clear guidance, trainings, regular communication, and team-building exercises
- Recruit, train, and retain top talents
- Provide feedback on product assortment, trends, and client preferences
- Set individual objectives, conduct performance evaluations, and create development plans
- Ensure exceptional client service in-store and during out-of-store experiences
- Build a high-quality client database through accurate data capture
- Support the team in responding to client requests, anticipating needs, and promoting new collections when needed
- Coach the team on CRM activities
- Effectively and accurately utilize all systems for inventory management
- Provide timely and accurate business reports to management
- Determine staffing needs and create optimal schedules as per business requirements
- Complete administrative tasks efficiently
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and finance operations teams
- 8- 10 years previous experience in a managerial role in luxury retail environment (at least 5 years in a boutique manager/boutique director role);
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with managing, coaching and developing a team
- Ability to translate strategies into executional action plans
- Strong clienteling skills
- Fluent in English; additional language is a plus
