Job Description

Our Compliance team blends regulatory expertise with data-driven thinking to make sure our products meet legal and policy requirements and deliver real value to customers. In a fast-moving, digital environment, they stay one step ahead by finding smart, scalable ways to manage conduct risk.
We re looking for a Business Compliance Manager to help embed our controls function in the UAE and support compliant scaling.

What You'll Be Doing
- Using regulatory knowledge to design appropriate controls and embed them within the local entity
- Conducting regulatory mapping and horizon scanning to ensure the entity has a clear framework for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Leading timely identification of control gaps, performing root-cause analysis, and remediation
- Acting as a primary advisor to the business by supporting with the launch of new products and services
- Empowering teams with knowledge, training, and tools, making compliance a seamless part of the innovation process
- Acting as a key liaison between the business and the second line of defence
- Liaising with key stakeholders as required, both internal (Legal, Risk, MLRO, etc.) and external (regulators, advisors, vendors, partners, etc.)
- Providing compliance domain expertise to 1LoD and offering solutions to compliance problem statements
Desired Candidate Profile
What You'll Need
- A STEM or other highly quantitative degree from a top-tier university
- A s olid track record of outstanding achievement in different areas
- Knowledge of Central Bank, DFSA, VARA, and SCA frameworks
- Experience in a top-tier bank, strategy consultancy, PE, or fast-growing technology company
- Expertise in key consumer protection regulations across the UAE
- An excellent understanding of how compliance risk and business risk interact
- Highly adaptable skills to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
- The ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects at once, and meet tight deadlines
Nice to have
- A CAMS or ICA certification
- Fluency in Arabic
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience with Power BI, Looker, Tableau, or similar tools
