Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Planning & Strategy Management: Own the sales planning process including monthly, quarterly, and annual targets. Define sales strategies, segmentation, and outreach models aligned with company growth goals.
  • Team Management & Performance Oversight: Manage, mentor, and evaluate the performance of Business Development Executives. Set clear KPIs, conduct regular reviews, provide coaching, and address performance gaps proactively.
  • Pipeline & Forecast Management: Oversee lead pipelines, deal stages, and revenue forecasts to ensure visibility, accuracy, and consistency. Review pipelines regularly and guide the team on prioritization and deal movement.
  • Business Development Oversight: Monitor lead generation initiatives, validate opportunity quality, and intervene in critical or high-value deals when required.
  • Client & Account Ownership: Act as the primary owner for key accounts and escalations. Ensure strong client relationships, timely issue resolution, and long-term account growth.
  • Proposal, Pricing & Commercial Control: Review and approve proposals, pricing structures, commercials, and contracts to ensure alignment with margins, scope, and company policies.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate closely with marketing, operations, and delivery teams to ensure smooth client onboarding, realistic commitments, and successful project execution.
  • Process Improvement & Sales Governance: Establish and improve sales processes, reporting standards, and documentation to drive efficiency and accountability.
  • Reporting & Management Communication: Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, risk assessments, and performance insights to senior management.
  • Target Ownership & Revenue Accountability: Own overall sales targets, drive consistent achievement across the team, and take corrective action when targets are at risk.
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor positioning, and service demand to guide pricing, positioning, and expansion decisions.
