Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth across both the law firm and the translation services company. Your core responsibility is to originate and develop new client relationships for the Law Firm and to support the conversion of prospects into fee-paying clients. Without limitation, your duties include: (a) identifying, approaching, and securing prospective clients for the Law Firm; (b) arranging meetings and introductions between prospective clients and the Law Firm’s Partners/lawyers; (c) maintaining a business development pipeline and activity records in the format required by the Law Firm; (d) coordinating with Partners/lawyers on proposals and onboarding steps (noting that pricing approvals, engagement terms, conflict checks, and KYC remain the Law Firm’s sole responsibility); and (e) maintaining professional conduct, confidentiality, and compliance with the Law Firm’s policies and applicable laws/regulations at all times.
Desired Candidate Profile
Native Arabic speaker with fluent / professional-level English (written and spoken).
Bachelor's degree holder.
Proven experience in business development or client relationship management. Experience in legal or professional services is highly preferred.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple pipelines.
Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with internal teams.
Compensation & Benefits:
Monthly salary: AED 8,000 – AED 12,000, depending on experience.
Discretionary Origination Bonus: Eligible for Discretionary Origination Monthly Bonus, subject to company discretion and reconciliation process.
