Roles & Responsibilities
About the Position
Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Card Games Room Manager to join the resort’s Card Games team.
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:
Poker Room Operations
Oversee daily operations of the poker room, including cash games, tournaments, staffing, and guest service standards
Ensure optimal table mix, game types, and tournament offerings to meet player demand and maximize profitability
Maintain a strong presence on the floor to engage with players and ensure a high-quality guest experience.
Strategic Planning & Revenue Growth
Work in conjunction with the Vice President of Card Games and Sporting Events to develop and execute strategies to grow poker revenue, player volume, and brand reputation
Collaborate with marketing and player development teams to attract new players and retain existing clientele
Analyze performance metrics and player data to optimize offerings and reinvestment
Player Relations & VIP Engagement
Build relationships with high-value players, poker influencers, and professional players
Coordinate personalized services, incentives, and event access for VIPs
Host and support major poker events and activations to enhance player engagement
Compliance & Game Integrity
Ensure all poker operations comply with gaming regulations, AML standards, and internal controls
Implement and monitor procedures to prevent collusion, cheating, and other risks to game integrity
Maintain accurate records of rake, jackpots, tournament payouts, and player tracking
Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, train, and manage poker room staff including gaming staff, supervisors, and additional support staff.
Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and foster a culture of professionalism and excellence
Provide ongoing training to enhance poker knowledge, customer service, and ensure regulatory compliance
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications
Minimum 6-8 years of experience in a leadership position focused on poker operations with knowledge of gaming marketing, player development, or luxury hospitality with regional exposure
Proven success in VIP relationship management and MENA market strategy
Deep understanding of MENA cultural norms, luxury expectations, and business etiquette
Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency highly preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Hospitality (MBA is a plus)
Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
Willingness to travel within the MENA region and represent the brand at regional events
