Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Commercial & Cost Management

  • Prepare project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts.

  • Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with approved budgets.

  • Conduct cost value reconciliation (CVR).

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement value engineering.

Quantity Surveying

  • Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities).

  • Verify quantities and measurements on-site.

  • Prepare interim valuations and final accounts.

  • Review subcontractor bills and certify payments.

Contract Administration

  • Draft, review, and manage contracts and subcontracts.

  • Handle variations, claims, and dispute resolution.

  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.

  • Maintain proper documentation for claims and extensions of time (EOT).

Tendering & Procurement

  • Analyze tender documents and prepare commercial proposals.

  • Evaluate subcontractor quotations and negotiate rates.

  • Support procurement strategy and vendor selection.

Risk & Compliance

  • Identify commercial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors on commercial matters.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering / Construction Management.

  • 8–15 years of experience in commercial and quantity surveying roles.

  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC or standard construction contracts.

  • Experience in high-value commercial or residential projects.

  • Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and cost management software.
