Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth. Responsible for setting and achieving the revenue and profit goals of the organization.
- Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development etc.).
- Monitor and analyze the market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities, and provide insights and recommendations to the senior management and board.
- Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are met.
- Implement new customer acquisition strategies and increase the products of each customer portfolio.
- Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Lead and manage the sales, marketing, and business development teams, and ensure they have the resources, training, and support needed.
- Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
- Assist in setting financial targets and budget development and monitoring.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements and skills
- Candidate must have a background of at least 15 years in international trading in chemical ingredients, specialities and other industrial raw materials for Food & Beverage, Personal Care & Pharmaceuticals, Water Treatment and Metal Treatment applications
- Should be a go-getter and has the ability to develop and generate new business opportunities in GCC, and African region.
- Bachelors or Masters of Science / Chemistry / Engineering with leadership qualities and good business acumen.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Currently available in the UAE and can join within 1 month
