Roles & Responsibilities
About The Role
- Greet guests as they enter and put them on a waiting list if necessary
- Provide guests with full concept and answering any initial questions
- Seat guests at tables or in waiting areas
- Assign guests to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers
- Engage with guests to ensure they are happy with food and service
- Respond to complaints and help to resolve them
- Answer phone calls, take reservations and answer any inquiries
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the Restaurant Manager
- Build relationships with repeat guests to develop and drive guest loyalty and maximize revenues
- Thorough knowledge of the resort and all facilities and offerings including but limited to on-going promotions, special events, etc.
- Any other duties as assigned
About You
- Minimum 2-year experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel or restaurant
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Committed to and passionate about the Food and Beverage industry
- Willing to work flexible hours
Desired Candidate Profile
