Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
HR Management:
- Implement HR strategies as approved by top management
- Lead talent acquisition for diverse roles: engineers, project managers, site supervisors, sales professionals, and corporate functions
- Manage the compensation & benefits structures
- Implement the performance management system
- Implement retention strategies for critical technical talent
HR Operations:
- Oversee end-to-end HR operations: onboarding, payroll, government compliance (Social Insurance, labor office), and personnel documentation
- Manage HRIS implementation and digital transformation of HR processes
- Handle employee relations and grievance resolution, and maintain positive work culture across office and multiple construction sites
- Ensure compliance with Egyptian labor law and industry-specific regulations
Administration:
- Manage office services and administrative staff across locations
- Oversee procurement of office supplies and non-technical equipment
- Implement and maintain HR policies, procedures, and documentation systems
- Coordinate with project sites on administrative and staff requirements
Training & Development:
- Conduct training needs analysis for technical and soft skills development
- Implement safety training programs
- Coordinate leadership programs for high-potential employees
Desired Candidate Profile
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
- 10-14 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Must have experience in construction, real estate development, or related industries
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian labor law and government compliance procedures
- HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, HRCI, HR Diploma) is a significant plus
Required Skills:
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
- Experience managing HR for both white-collar and blue-collar workforce
- Strong understanding of payroll systems and HRIS implementation
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to develop policies and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR software systems
