About the Role

Our client is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to establish and manage the full HR function in-house for a growing technology platform. This role requires ownership of all HR operations, from building policies and frameworks to managing day-to-day employee lifecycle processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping company culture, ensuring compliance, and supporting business growth through structured HR practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and manage the complete HR function, including policies, procedures, and frameworks.
  • Develop and implement company handbook and employee handbook aligned with UAE Labour Law.
  • Oversee payroll processing, employee records, and HR documentation.
  • Manage employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, and performance processes.
  • Handle leave management including annual leave, sick leave, and absence tracking.
  • Drive company culture initiatives and employee engagement strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labour regulations and internal governance standards.
  • Support leadership with HR advisory, workforce planning, and organisational structure.
  • Maintain accurate HR systems and reporting for management decision-making.

Experience within a technology or startup environment is an advantage.

Desired Candidate Profile

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' HR experience within the UAE.
  • Proven experience as a standalone or lead HR professional managing full HR operations.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR compliance requirements.
  • Experience developing HR policies, employee handbooks, and internal procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll, leave management, and HR administration.
  • Ability to work independently and build HR structure from the ground up.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a practical, execution-focused mindset.
