Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a human resources system that meets top management information needs. • Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions • Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training and coach the employees and discipline; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors • ensure that HR policies followed within the company comply with law. • Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Studies legislation, arbitration decisions, and collective bargaining contracts to assess industry trends. • Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward Company goals. • Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for Management /government reporting. • Coordinates management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment. • Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. • Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization. Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization. • Design/Develop/Administers/ Maintains HR programs such as Annual Leave vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance , Comply with rules and regulations of the UAE. • Prepares budget of human resources operations. • Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover. • Represents organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations. • Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records. • Completes human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results. • Maintains human resource staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. • To make and implement Company HR & Admin polices. • To implement KPI based performance management system. • To follow up and ensure proper Housekeeping, Fire, Health & Safety of the office premises. • To handle Disciplinary Action, Grievance, and employee relation issues. • To monitor training/awareness on regular basis. • To communicate with Compliance Auditors, Fire & Civil defense Department, Labor Office, Labor Court, Police Station, Local Influences and Labor Federation etc. • To perform any other task as assigned by the management from time to time.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Must be fluency in English. In addition, with other languages e.g. Hindi/Bangali/Arabic preferable. • Strong attention to detail and integrity. • Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team. • Familiarity with international clients and foreign currency transactions.
