The Queen Elizabeth II Hotel in Dubai is hiring a Kitchen Steward to support the smooth operation of its F&B outlets by maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in kitchen and service areas. The role involves dishwashing, cleaning, stock handling, and assisting with linen transport to ensure efficient back-of-house operations.

Core Duties

* Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, flatware, and kitchen equipment, ensuring proper storage
* Sweep, mop, and polish floors and surfaces in kitchens, restaurants, and bars
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all assigned areas
* Transport used linen to and from the laundry or housekeeping sections
* Assist with unloading deliveries and storing stock in designated areas
* Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely in compliance with hotel policies
* Support kitchen and service teams by ensuring a ready supply of clean items
* Work closely with colleagues to maintain smooth daily operations

Candidate Profile

* Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within hospitality preferred
* Strong knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards
* Organized, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team
* Passionate about maintaining a clean and safe environment
* Physically fit to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
* Hospitality background is an advantage
