Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of oriental dishes in line with standard recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the kitchen team for timely replenishment of ingredients.
  • Assist in menu development and suggest improvements based on market trends and customer preferences.
  • Supervise junior kitchen staff when required and support team operations.
  • Ensure proper food storage and minimize wastage.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.


Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in oriental cuisine.
  • Proven experience in hotels or reputable restaurants.
  • Strong knowledge of oriental dishes and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays if required
