Production Supervisor- Food Industry

The Production Supervisor oversees the day-to-day production operations and staff to ensure timely and efficient workflow. This role is responsible for ensuring productivity targets, health, quality and food safety standards meet company standards. It is the responsibility of the Production Supervisor to lead a team of workers, oversee employee issues and concerns, provide training, and manage performance.

THE ROLE - Production Supervisor for manufacturer and packer of dry food ingredients, including Food Flavours and Seasoning and meat blenders , herbs and spices.

• Planning and overseeing production schedule, and reporting directly to the Managing Director
• Managing and working with existing production team, including staff rostering
• Overseeing use of production equipment and machinery and training production staff
• Maintaining food safety and HACCP systems, and overseeing cleanliness of production facilities
• Maintaining quality control over incoming goods and manufactured food ingredients
• Assisting with stock control and production planning
