Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Permit to Work (PTW) system to ensure compliance with safety protocols, facilitating risk assessments and safe work environments.
  • Review and approve work permits, ensuring all safety measures are in place before authorizing the commencement of any high-risk activities.
  • Conduct regular audits of PTW processes and documentation, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions swiftly.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to plan and coordinate activities that require permits, ensuring seamless communication and workflow.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, safety management, or a related field is preferred, providing a solid foundation for understanding technical processes.
  • Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent safety qualifications are essential to validate expertise in safety management.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the oil & gas, construction, or manufacturing industries is required to ensure practical knowledge.
  • Experience working in high-risk environments, demonstrating the ability to handle complex safety protocols effectively.
