Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth in our Civil Construction and Interior Fit-Out business. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, managing tender processes, and achieving revenue targets while ensuring profitability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Strategy
Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company objectives.
Identify new project opportunities in commercial, residential, industrial, and institutional sectors.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
Expand company presence in target markets.
2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
Generate leads through networking, referrals, site visits, and industry events.
Build strong relationships with architects, consultants, PMCs, developers, and corporate clients.
Conduct client presentations and project discussions.
Maintain long-term client relationships to ensure repeat business.
3. Tendering & Proposal Management
Identify and evaluate suitable tenders (government & private).
Coordinate with estimation and technical teams for BOQ preparation and costing.
Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals.
Participate in bid negotiations and contract finalization.
4. Sales & Revenue Management
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Maintain a strong sales pipeline and forecast reports.
Negotiate contracts and ensure favorable commercial terms.
Monitor project profitability and payment collections.
5. Internal Coordination
Coordinate with project, procurement, estimation, and finance teams.
Ensure smooth transition from project acquisition to execution.
Monitor client satisfaction during project lifecycle.
6. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain CRM records and sales database.
Submit weekly/monthly performance reports.
Track project status and revenue realization.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
5–10 years of experience in business development within civil construction or interior fit-out industry.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, BOQs, and tendering procedures.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to build strong professional networks.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
