Job Overview Premium Dining and Leadership Role
As Restaurant Manager, you will oversee all operational, financial, and guest service aspects of a high-profile restaurant within Fairmont The Palm. Working closely with the Director of Food and Beverage and Head Chef, you will drive team performance, ensure smooth daily operations, and deliver consistently exceptional guest experiences. This position demands strong leadership, sound financial management, and a passion for hospitality excellence.
What You ll Do
* Lead and manage the full front-of-house team, inspiring consistent service excellence
* Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, maintaining quality, hygiene, and safety standards
* Drive guest satisfaction through personalized service, guest engagement, and feedback resolution
* Develop and execute strategic plans to meet performance, sales, and profitability targets
* Collaborate with kitchen leadership on menu planning, stock control, and supplier coordination
* Manage labor costs, staffing schedules, and recruitment to align with operational needs
* Conduct training, coaching, and performance reviews to foster a high-performing team
* Monitor outlet cleanliness, safety compliance, and proper equipment use
* Maintain accurate financial records, ensure secure handling of revenue, and manage inventories
* Analyze business opportunities to optimize revenue and guest flow
* Act as a brand ambassador for Fairmont standards and guest experience initiatives
Ideal Profile Restaurant Operations and Leadership
* Minimum 3 5 years of experience managing high-volume or fine-dining restaurant operations
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead diverse teams effectively
* Proven ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic hospitality setting
* Background in luxury hotel or resort environments strongly preferred
* Skilled in budgeting, cost control, and inventory management
* High level of professionalism in grooming, conduct, and guest-facing communication
* Strong commitment to health and safety, hygiene, and team development
* Fluent in English; additional languages a plus
* Physically fit and able to work on-site in high-temperature outdoor areas when needed
