Roles & Responsibilities

As a Delegate Sales Executive, you will be the driving force behind the success of our flagship events. You won't just be selling delegate passes; you'll be consulting with senior professionals, demonstrating the undeniable value of attending, and building a network of industry leaders. • Proactively prospecting, qualifying leads, and managing the entire sales process from first contact to closed deal. • Understanding the business challenges of potential delegates and articulating how our event provides the solutions, connections, and insights they need. • Building and maintaining a pipeline of clients through calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach. • Becoming a subject-matter expert on our events and the industry we serve to build credibility and trust. • Follow the sales culture and best practice across the portfolio. • To be responsible for the revenue generation through delegate packages to achieve agreed sales targets. • Ensuring strong sales culture with clear deadlines, targets, and responsibilities. • Develop long term account relationships through regular calls, offering information on the customer’s sector and sending information. • Question customers in depth to ascertain their long-term business requirements and target markets. • Presents benefit of attending our events to potential clients using visual aids or virtual meets • To actively seek new customers from all relevant sources including trade press, competitors, and other likeminded events. • Provide the Portfolio Director with a weekly report detailing forecast. Monitor sales figures and reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to enable senior management to be updated on the progress of the sponsorships. • Involvement with collections to ensure payments are made in line with the contract. Attend and travel to events. On site event execution and delegate management as per the format. • The role requires primarily selling over the phone and strong research and analytical skills. • To facilitate delegate acquisitions, initiate business conversations with CEO's and other C Level Executives to build a strong partner network. • Support operations during the events onsite and liaise with partners to execute the deliverable for the same. • Communicate new events and conferences, special developments, information or feedback to existing client network. • Attend and present at external Exhibitions and Conferences necessary to perform lead generation and aid business development.

Ideal Candidate: o Previous experience in delegate sales, event sales, or membership sales is a huge plus. o You are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment. o You're tech-savvy and comfortable using a CRM. o Zeal to travel the world o Strong written and verbal communication skills with a positive sales attitude.
