Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Precisely cut, trim, and portion various meats and vegetables according to recipes and customer specifications, ensuring consistent quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation standards to prevent contamination.
- Operate and maintain cutting equipment, including slicers, grinders, and knives, ensuring their proper function and safety.
- Receive and inspect incoming meat and vegetable deliveries, verifying quality and quantity against invoices.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Possess a Food Handler's Certificate or equivalent certification.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a butcher shop, grocery store, or restaurant setting.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately cut and trim various types of meat and vegetables.
