Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

As the VP Games, you will define and lead the end-to-end mobile gaming strategy, owning the full lifecycle from concept to monetisation. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for building a world-class gaming portfolio, driving user growth, engagement, revenue, and positioning the company as a leading player in the digital mobile-gaming ecosystems globally.

You will operate at the intersection of product, partnerships, and commercial performance, translating market opportunities into scalable gaming experiences.

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and execute the global gaming strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Identify market trends, player behaviours, and emerging opportunities (casual, mid-core, Triple AAA, cloud gaming . etc.)
  • Build a future-focused gaming roadmap with clear growth and monetisation levers

Product Leadership & Portfolio Ownership

  • Own the end-to-end gaming product portfolio offering (Design, build, launch, scale, optimize)
  • Lead the development of engaging, high-retention gaming experiences
  • Drive data-led decision-making across engagement, LTV, retention, and ARPU
  • Ensure best-in-class UX, gameplay mechanics, engagement and monetisation models

Commercial & Revenue Growth

  • Own the gaming P&L and deliver against revenue, margin, and growth targets
  • Optimise monetisation strategies (in-app purchases for app and web, subscriptions, ads revenues, vouchers, competitions, play & Earn .etc.)
  • Identify new revenue streams and expansion opportunities across markets

Partnerships & Ecosystem Development

  • Build and manage strategic partnerships with game studios, publishers, and platforms
  • Lead negotiations and commercial agreements to expand the gaming portfolio
  • Develop a strong partner ecosystem to accelerate content acquisition and innovation

Stakeholder Management & Leadership

  • Act as the primary product authority for gaming internally and externally
  • Influence senior stakeholders through data-driven insights and clear value propositions
  • Lead and develop a high-performing product team, fostering ownership, accountability, and innovation

Governance & Performance Management

  • Define product KPIs and success metrics, ensuring data-driven decision-making
  • Establish quality standards, testing frameworks, and release governance
  • Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • A minimum of 7 years in mobile gaming platforms, PWAs, Web & App based gaming platforms, Causal Gaming, Ad based revenue models
  • Proven experience defining and executing against roadmaps using Agile methodologies.
  • Expertise in both web and native app development and deployment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the digital value chain and key trends in global transformation. Experience in D2C and B2B2C is a must. Some experience in the telco industry is considered a plus.
  • Strong experience in content acquisition and negotiating strategic partnerships with big game developers & publishers
  • Solid adoption and experience using AI in all aspects of gaming from build, delivery, UX ....etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to guide products from ideation to productization in complex, proven experience leading gaming products or portfolios at scale
  • Strong commercial track record (P&L ownership, revenue growth)
  • Exposure to global markets, specifically EUROPE, MIDDLE EAST & AFRICA

Desired Candidate Profile
