Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the weighbridge to accurately record the weight of incoming and outgoing vehicles and materials.
- 2. Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of the weighbridge equipment for accurate measurements.
- 3. Verify vehicle and material details, including tare weight, load weight, and documentation.
- 4. Maintain records of all transactions, including weight data, vehicle IDs, and any discrepancies.
- 5. Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements during weighbridge operations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundational level of education.
- Possession of a valid driver's license, enabling the ability to operate vehicles if needed.
- Certification in weighbridge operation, showcasing specialized training and expertise.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a weighbridge or related environment within the logistics industry.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, and the physical capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities, fostering effective interaction.
- Proficiency in weighbridge software and basic computer skills, including data entry and report generation.
- No specific nationality preference, welcoming applications from diverse backgrounds.
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the construction or waste management industries.
