Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales & Business Development Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory. Identify new business opportunities in retail, wholesale, and projects (developers, contractors, architects, consultants). Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate and expand in the UAE market. 2. Channel & Client Management Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and project clients. Conduct regular client visits to strengthen customer loyalty and ensure satisfaction. Negotiate and finalize contracts, pricing, and credit terms within company policies. 3. Market Expansion & Projects Scout ongoing and upcoming construction projects, submit quotes, and follow up for closures. Register products with consultants and developers for project approvals. Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and B2B meets to promote products. 4. Team & Coordination Guide and support sales executives (if applicable) to achieve individual and team targets. Coordinate with marketing for promotional activities, campaigns, and branding in the UAE. Work closely with supply chain and logistics to ensure timely product availability and deliveries. 5. Reporting & Analysis Track sales performance and provide regular MIS/reports to management. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to stay competitive. Recommend and execute corrective actions for sales growth.
Desired Candidate Profile
Key Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of proven sales experience in building materials (tiles, sanitaryware, plumbing, cement, ceilings, pipes, etc.) within the UAE market. Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of UAE construction industry dynamics, retail/wholesale trade, and project sales. Client Network: Established relationships with contractors, developers, consultants, and distributors in the UAE. Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Target Driven: Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets consistently. Analytical Ability: Strong in market analysis, competitor tracking, and pricing strategy. Mobility: Valid UAE driving license; willingness to travel extensively within the region. Languages: Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic/Hindi/Malayalam is an added advantage. Personality: Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
