Roles & Responsibilities

The Assistant Pastry Chef supports the Head Pastry Chef in preparing, baking, and presenting a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods. This role involves assisting in recipe preparation, ensuring product quality, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and helping with inventory and ingredient management.

Key Responsibilities: Assist in preparing and baking pastries, cakes, breads, and desserts Decorate and finish pastry items to high presentation standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section Ensure proper storage of ingredients and finished products Support the Pastry Chef in menu planning and new recipe development Follow food safety and hygiene standards
