Roles & Responsibilities
This job is meant to provide dedicated and specialised management on the Commercial aspect of SkyCargo Freighters. Undertake the management of Key Customer Accounts, Blocked Space Agreements and Strategic Partnerships. Act as a primary point of contact and ensuring their needs and expectations are met. Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous enhancement of systems, processes and practices, and productivity improvement, including producing high-quality communications materials to support the departments? development initiatives.
In this role, you will;
- Ascertain and collate all data related to the contracted flights, ensuring that accurate data is captured in the systems utilized.
- Determine the accuracy within the system is captured and identify and correct any anomalies that could affect accounting or reports that is used for performance monitoring and contract rates recommendation.
- Recommend initiatives or changes to management as part of continual account handling for service improvement and to ensure growth of the partnership.
- Develop key reports and manage and support regular meetings with Customers or Partners along with management and internal stakeholders. Ensure alignment regarding changes or operational aspects of the accounts / partnership.
- Maintain a regular communication, work closely with customer to develop customised solutions that address all special requirements, tailored services, priority treatment, and value-added services to ensure a continuous enhancement of service quality.
- Monitor the performance including cargo volumes, revenue generation, on-time performance, and customer satisfaction using performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of agreement and relationship and identify areas for improvement.
- Setting up a Block Space Agreement (BSA) with agents/direct customers in the cargo airline business involves establishing a contractual arrangement that provides the agent with guaranteed access to a predetermined volume of cargo space on designated flights.
- Develop an established partnership with other airlines. Be part in driving the collaboration models, initiatives and implementation of the partnership.
- Support in the setup of new agreements, integration plans and operational processes to seamlessly integrate and ensure smooth execution and alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Continuously assess the partnership's effectiveness and provide report to the higher management / steering committee to help identify opportunities for optimization, expansion, or diversification.
Desired Candidate Profile
To be considered for this role, you must meet the below;
Degree or Honours (12+3) or equivalent
Minimum 3+ years in Logistics/Cargo or Air Cargo operations
Strong understanding of IATA regulations, rules, and procedures
Completed approved training in:
Cargo Acceptance & Handling (including Special Cargo)
Cargo Product Knowledge
Advanced Load Control
Freighter Load Control
Strong communication skills
Good IT proficiency
