Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Sales Development Support the sales pipeline from initial prospecting and outbound lead generation, to closing, including research, outreach, demos, and proposals. Qualify inbound leads and develop outbound strategies to expand our client base. Collaborate with leadership to refine messaging and positioning in client conversations. Client Development & Relationship Management Build trusted relationships with clients across financial services, real estate, and government sectors. Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and deepening client partnerships. Act as a liaison between clients and internal product/technical teams, translating feedback into actionable product strategies. Media and Events Outreach Use our CRM and network to customize campaigns to relevant media outlets to enhance firm visibility with targeted industry publications Pitch senior leadership to speak at key industry events based on scouting for upcoming opportunities and pegging to travel schedules
Desired Candidate Profile
3–4 years of professional experience, ideally at a growth-stage startup Background in SaaS, data analytics, or financial services; climate or geospatial exposure is a plus Comfortable with technical jargon and capable of translating complex concepts for clients in technical demos Strong communicator with a consultative, client-first approach Track record of supporting sales cycles and developing client relationships that drive revenue Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action, flexibility, and learning. Comfortable for fast-changing start-up environments Proficiency in CRM software (HubSpot) for account management, tracking, and reporting preferred Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, PPT, Excel)
