Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes as directed by senior chefs.
Follow standard recipes, portion control, and presentation guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations at all times.
Comply with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP).
Properly store food items and assist in stock rotation (FIFO).
Help minimize waste and support cost control measures.
Assist during service periods and handle tasks efficiently under pressure.
Maintain kitchen equipment and report any issues to supervisors.
Follow hotel policies, procedures, and grooming standards.
Basic cooking and knife skills
Strong teamwork and communication
Attention to cleanliness and detail
Time management and adaptability
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
Desired Candidate Profile
Culinary diploma or certificate preferred.
0 2 years of experience in a hotel or professional kitchen (internship acceptable).
Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
Willingness to learn and take direction from senior chefs.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
