Roles & Responsibilities

The Cook will be responsible for preparing daily meals for the family, ensuring high standards of hygiene, taste, and presentation. The role requires experience in Arabic and international cuisines, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining a clean, organized cooking environment.

  • Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks as requested by the family.
  • Cook a variety of Middle Eastern, International, Arabic, and Continental cuisines.
  • Plan weekly menus based on family preferences and dietary requirements.
  • Ensure all food is fresh, hygienically prepared, and presented well.
  • Manage grocery shopping, pantry stock, and kitchen supply inventory.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and related areas.
  • Adjust recipes and meals to meet special dietary needs when required.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cook in a private household or hotel/restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of Arabic/Emirati cuisine, with the ability to prepare international dishes.
  • Ability to plan menus and manage kitchen operations independently.
  • Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
  • Polite, trustworthy, hardworking, and respectful.
  • Flexibility with working hours, including weekends or events if required.
  • Preferred: Experience working in UAE households.
  • Must know basic English.
