Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Corporate & Government Relations Executive is responsible for expanding and managing corporate and government engagement initiatives for The University of Manchester- Dubai. This includes enhancing relationships with corporates, developing government partnerships, and supporting student recruitment s events on corporate premises and at government organizations. The post holder will manage the relationships and represent the University in external engagements across both private and public sectors.
They will work closely with The Marketing and Corporate Relations Manager to support strategic marketing, manage key partners, expand our network, deliver targeted events/information session, and masterclasses, and analyse market data to guide decision-making. This role also plays a vital part in building the University s reputation across the GCC And MENA through PR, partnerships, branding, and representation at events. As a member of The University of Manchester - Dubai, the post holder will support the Marketing Manager in general branch projects, including CSR activities and other initiatives when requested.
The Post holder will be required to work evening and weekends in support of the University s events and other promotional activities.
Corporate and Government Related Responsibilities:
- Initiate and maintain strategic partnerships with corporate clients, stakeholders, and sponsors
- Build and manage a high-level network of government contacts (ministries, regulators, and public entities) to support business development and brand visibility.
- Represent the University in corporate, governmental, and community events to promote educational programmes and CSR initiatives.
- Maintain strong relationships with alumni and use this network to identify new partnership and sponsorship opportunities.
- Prepare, renew and negotiate MOUs for corporate and government partnerships.
To keep a log of corporate business and government partners and grow the database and manage all data-related history and queries that has to be readily available when needed for future planning purposes.
To regularly visit clients and deliver presentations to corporates and prospective students.
To run masterclasses and information sessions at corporate and government premises
Marketing Support & Brand Visibility
- Collaborate with the marketing team and PR agency to increase corporate visibility and generate leads
- Coordinate the delivery of marketing collateral to corporate/government partners and ensure all branding is consistent with brand guidelines.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of recruitment events, conferences, and masterclasses at corporates and government entities
- Align faculty engagement (e.g., masterclasses, lectures) with current corporate trends and partnerships.
- Research and recommend, the most appropriate 3 rd party events to sponsor
- To run a competitor analysis, student profiling and identification of potential new partners on monthly basis.
- To support CSR & Centre events by finding the right corporate sponsors for each initiative when needed.
- Represents the University during open days, fairs, exhibitions, events, and counsel prospective students in different locations on and off campus settings.
- Maintain good and constructive relationships within and outside the organization at all levels, i.e., the administration, students, press, alumni, current partners, government, vendors and the public.
Evaluation of Data & Others
Generate regular ROI and performance reports for internal stakeholders on activities
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on data to inform future recruitment and marketing strategies.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities
- Analyse CRM data, track lead generation, and evaluate campaign performance using platforms such as ClickDimensions, Eventbrite, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.
- Other projects as assigned by the Branch Director
Support the Branches Social Responsibility initiatives.
Desired Candidate Profile
The person appointed should possess:
- Speaks Arabic and English fluently.
- Bachelor s degree in marketing or business
- 3 5 years of experience in corporate relations, marketing, government engagement, or business development within GCC and KSA
- Proven ability to build and maintain senior relationships in both public and private sectors.
- The ability to work well in a team as well as with guests, visitors and students.
- Ability to deal tactfully and sensitively with confidential information, and awareness of implications of the Data Protection Act.
- Strong Sales & communication Skills
- Self-motivated with a positive can do attitude and the ability to manage own workload.
- Organization and time management skills
- Attention to detail and strong technical skills.
- Be able to work independently.
