Roles & Responsibilities

Overview:
The OT Security Sales / Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving sales and business growth for Operational Technology (OT) security and ICS (Industrial Control Systems) service offerings. The role focuses on selling cybersecurity services, assessments, managed services, and protection solutions tailored for industrial environments.

Desired Candidate Profile

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for OT/ICS security services.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline.
  • Sell service-based offerings such as OT security assessments, monitoring, incident response, compliance services, and managed security.
  • Engage with customers to understand their OT infrastructure, security pain points, and operational risks.
  • Present and demonstrate OT/ICS security service capabilities to technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal security, engineering, and delivery teams to shape customer proposals and solutions.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and maintain accurate forecasting.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients across industrial sectors (energy, manufacturing, utilities, oil & gas, etc.).
  • Stay updated on OT/ICS cybersecurity trends, threats, compliance standards, and competitor offerings.

Requirements:

  • 3–7+ years of experience in OT Security, ICS Cybersecurity, or Industrial Automation Sales.
  • Proven track record in service selling (cybersecurity services, managed services, or consulting).
  • Strong understanding of OT environments (PLC, SCADA, DCS, IIoT) and related security challenges.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business value for clients.
