A Demi Chef assists the head chef or sous chef in preparing and cooking food in a professional kitchen. They handle food preparation, cooking, and plating, ensuring quality and hygiene standards are maintained. The Demi Chef supports the kitchen team by managing specific sections and helping with menu execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare ingredients according to recipes and menu specifications
Assist in cooking and presenting dishes to the required standards
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and workstations
Ensure proper storage of food items and inventory management
Follow health and safety regulations during food handling and preparation
Assist senior chefs in menu planning and kitchen operations
Monitor food quality and report any issues to the chef
Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required
Assist in kitchen equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
