Job Title: Employee Relations Specialist
Location: Qatar (Preferred)
Language Requirement: Arabic Speaking (Mandatory)
Department: Human Resources
Experience Level: Mid-Level (3+ Years)
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Employee Relations Specialist to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in employee relations within the GCC, a strong understanding of local labor laws, and the ability to manage sensitive HR matters with professionalism and integrity. Fluency in Arabic is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Handle employee relations matters with a fair and consistent approach, aligned with company values and legal requirements.
Provide guidance to managers and employees on disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management.
Conduct internal investigations thoroughly, ensuring confidentiality and proper documentation.
Review and analyze attendance and payroll data to identify patterns and assist in implementing corrective actions.
Ensure HR processes and practices are compliant with GCC labor laws and internal company policies.
Support HR initiatives including organizational restructuring, KPI alignment, and policy development.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all employee relations matters.
Collaborate with internal HR functions and stakeholders to foster a positive workplace environment.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of overall HR experience, with at least 2 year in the GCC.
Fluent in Arabic (spoken and written) is mandatory.
Based in Qatar preferred
Strong knowledge of local labor laws and employee relations best practices.
Experience with HRIS systems; familiarity with SAP is an added advantage.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
