Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Provide overall strategic direction and leadership to the bakery and other food manufacturing units.

  • Develop and implement business strategies aligned with corporate goals to achieve profitability, growth, and sustainability.

  • Identify market opportunities and lead the expansion of product lines and operations.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production planning, quality control, logistics, and supply chain management.

  • Ensure optimal utilization of resources to achieve production targets and efficiency.

  • Implement and monitor KPIs across production, safety, quality, and cost-efficiency.

Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage the annual budget and ensure cost controls across all units.

  • Analyze financial statements and operational reports to drive decisions.

  • Ensure profitability and growth of each food business unit.

Team Leadership:

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of department heads and staff.

  • Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

  • Collaborate closely with HR for recruitment, retention, and talent development.

Quality, Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with local and international food safety and health regulations (HACCP, ISO, etc.).

  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and quality control in all units.

  • Lead sustainability and environmental initiatives.

Business Development & Customer Focus:

  • Liaise with key clients, suppliers, and partners to foster relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to support business growth initiatives and product positioning.

  • Monitor market trends and customer feedback to improve offerings.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in food technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master s degree preferred).

Strong experience in bakery production and food industry operations is essential.

Proven expertise in P&L management, strategic planning, and operational excellence.

In-depth knowledge of UAE food regulations, standards, and business environment.

Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

English is mandatory.

10+ years of experience in the food manufacturing industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Based in the UAE with potential travel to different manufacturing locations and partner sites.

Fast-paced, dynamic work environment requiring agility and hands-on involvement.
