Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, HRIS, employee records, payroll coordination, and leave management.
- Manage recruitment processes for faculty and administrative roles, including credential verification and visa processing.
- Ensure compliance with university policies, labor laws, and accreditation requirements (CAA, KHDA, international standards).
- Handle employee relations, performance management cycles, and HR policy updates.
- Coordinate training, development programs, HR reporting, and workforce planning.
- Work closely with PRO/government relations team on immigration, visas, and renewals.
- Provide HR support to academic leadership and ensure smooth semester start-ups.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Professional certification such as CIPD / SHRM is an advantage.
- 6–10 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in HR operations/HR management.
- Experience in a university or higher-education environment is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of UAE labor law, academic HR cycles, and university HR processes.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
