Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Payroll & Admin Officer to support the payroll and administrative functions within our company. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using ePROMIS ERP, a good understanding of UAE labor laws, and the ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently in a fast-paced project-driven environment.

Payroll Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and processing monthly payroll through ePROMIS for staff and site workers.
  • Maintain and update payroll records (attendance, deductions, overtime, leaves, etc.).
  • Support the coordination of WPS (Wage Protection System) compliance and timely salary transfers.
  • Verify timesheets and coordinate with site administrators and HR for data accuracy.
  • Handle employee queries related to salaries, payslips, deductions, and leave balances.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and organize employee records and files, both digital and hard copy, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support and manage data entry processes, including employee ID creation, medical records, and visa documentation.
  • Coordinate with employees regarding their medical insurance inquiries and assist in preparing required documentation as directed by the HR Director.
  • Liaise with PROs and site teams to ensure timely completion of employee-related administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2 +years of relevant experience in payroll and HR administration within the contracting or construction industry in the UAE.
  • Experience with ePROMIS ERP is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor law and payroll practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Good organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Preferred Qualities:

  • Experience working in a site-based or project-based environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
