Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and execute business development strategies and annual sales plans to achieve defined revenue and growth targets.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the assigned region, with a focus on driving innovative applications and solutions across diverse manufacturing industries.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Corporate Accounts, Marketing, Pricing, and Technical Applications to align customer needs with business objectives.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key accounts by understanding customer priorities, ensuring consistent value delivery, and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline in CRM, monitor account profitability, and ensure effective management of pricing, receivables, and service delivery.
  • Regularly review territory processes and applications to identify areas for improvement, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer value.
  • Deliver compelling business cases and ROI analysis to support new opportunities and demonstrate value to customers.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master’s or advanced degree will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Key Account Management, preferably from Chemical Industry selling value solutions to any process manufacturing industries in like of Food, Beverages, distilleries , water treatment etc.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to engage effectively across all levels of customer organizations.
  • Demonstrated capability to present complex solutions in a clear and persuasive manner to diverse audiences.
  • Sound knowledge of business management principles, financial acumen, and account profitability management.
  • Self-driven, customer-focused, and result-oriented professional with a track record of growing accounts and achieving sales targets.
