Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Account & Market Ownership 

  • Own assigned international markets and key customer accounts 

  • Act as the primary contact for distributors and retailers 

  • Build and execute annual customer plans aligned to the international strategy 

  • Support new market entry and expansion where required 

2. Revenue Delivery & Growth 

  • Own and deliver annual revenue targets for assigned accounts, proactively identifying and executing opportunities to close revenue gaps 

  • Strong Relationship building & BD Ability to unlock partner and new business growth 

  • Build and manage baseline revenue and incremental building blocks 

  • Identify opportunities across distribution, NPD, activations, and pricing 

  • Clearly flag risks, delays, and upside to the Head of International in good time 

3. Commercial & Customer Leadership 

  • Lead commercial negotiations (pricing, ranges, promotions, contracts) 

  • Manage distributor performance and ensure alignment with brand standards 

  • Drive range optimisation and innovation pipelines with customers 

  • Ensure strong in-market execution through clear briefs and follow-up 

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Work closely with Sales Ops to ensure clear handover from commercial intent to execution 

  • Align with Supply Chain on volumes, lead times, and constraints 

  • Partner with Marketing on activations, launches, and brand initiatives 

  • Collaborate on forecasting and commercial visibility 

5. Forecasting & Reporting 

  • Own customer-level forecasts and commercial assumptions 

  • Support accurate monthly and quarterly phasing (directional accuracy) 

  • Provide clear, concise updates to the Head of International 

  • Maintain disciplined documentation and customer records

Qualifications & Experience – Must have

  • 3-5 years international FMCG sales or export experience 

  • Genuine Relationship Builder who is hungry and resilient 

  • Organised, Solutions-oriented with a growth mindset  

  • Strong background managing distributors and retail customers 

  • Confident commercially and experienced with account planning 

  • Structured thinker with the ability to operate in ambiguity 

  • Collaborative, accountable, and comfortable in growth environments 

  • A self-starter who is likes to get their hands dirty  

  • Ability to travel unrestricted
