Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up HR, General Administration, Safety & Health, and Security functions for the plant.
  • Partner with plant leadership to create a performance-driven, engaged, and inclusive workforce.
  • Design and implement the organizational structure and recruitment strategy in line with site objectives.
  • Establish induction, training, and capability-building programs for all employees.
  • Drive employee engagement, rewards, recognition, and performance culture.
  • Manage time office, payroll, attendance, canteen, and other administrative infrastructure.
  • Oversee PRO activities in close coordination with plant finance and controls team.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, Emiratization requirements, and corporate HR policies.

Key Skills & Knowledge

  • 8+ years of HR managerial experience, preferably in an FMCG or manufacturing plant setup in Dubai.
  • Strong understanding of UAE labor laws and Emiratization policies.
  • Demonstrated experience in both strategic HR and execution.
  • Proven leadership skills with prior team management responsibilities.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources Management from a reputed institute.

  • Collaborative team orientation, with ability to work across functions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Persistence in achieving results through ambiguity.

Desired Candidate Profile

A leading global FMCG organization is expanding its operations in the UAE. With a diversified portfolio across multiple categories, the company is establishing a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This project will be one of the largest of its kind in the region and is expected to commence commercial production in early.

As the HR Manager, you will be a key member of the plant leadership team, responsible for establishing and managing the complete HR and administration function for the new facility. You will play a pivotal role in setting up HR processes, driving compliance, enabling a high-performance and inclusive culture, and overseeing the entire employee lifecycle for the site.

This role reports directly to the HR Lead METAP.
