Roles & Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development of innovative food products, from concept to commercialization, ensuring alignment with market trends and consumer preferences.
- Conduct comprehensive food science research, including ingredient functionality, shelf-life studies, and sensory evaluations, to optimize product quality and performance.
- Formulate and test new recipes and prototypes, meticulously documenting all processes and results for accurate record-keeping and future reference.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure successful product launches and market penetration.
- Manage and execute pilot plant trials, scaling up formulations while maintaining product integrity and adhering to food safety standards.
- Stay abreast of the latest food industry regulations, ingredient technologies, and competitive landscape to inform product development strategies.
- Evaluate and select food ingredients and packaging materials, considering factors such as cost, quality, and sustainability.
- Troubleshoot product issues and implement corrective actions, ensuring consistent product quality and consumer satisfaction.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate research findings and product specifications effectively.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Conduct thorough research on ingredients, formulations, and processing techniques to optimize product quality, taste, and shelf life.
- Lead and execute product development trials, meticulously documenting results and making data-driven adjustments to recipes and processes.

- Troubleshoot product development challenges, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to maintain quality and efficiency.
