Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The R&D Manager directs all research programs, develops new product concepts, and improves existing recipes to align with company growth and cost-efficiency goals.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Modify existing products and develop new ones through trial-scale testing and panel scoring.
- Identify new solutions for product application across different production lines.
- Prepare product costing based on raw materials and manufacturing costs to ensure profitability.
- Train operations and quality assurance personnel on new manufacturing processes.
- Work with suppliers on quality issues and new ingredient sourcing.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
- Degree: Bachelor in Food Science, Bio-Chemistry, or related Science field.
- Years of Experience: 5 10 years.
- Key Skills: Innovation, attention to detail, and expertise in quality/compliance management.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of chemical properties, production techniques, and disposal methods.
