Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

This is a full-time on-site role for a Government Sales Manager at Al Habtoor City Hotel Collection, located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Government Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding the hotel's relationships with government clients, overseeing the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals. Daily tasks include business planning, achieving sales targets, maintaining customer satisfaction, and account management. The role involves frequent interaction with government entities and requires a strategic approach to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to secure and grow business from the government sector.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in ministries, embassies, and government entities.

  • Negotiate and secure long-term business agreements and contracts.

  • Work closely with Revenue, Reservations, and Operations teams to ensure successful execution of contracts and client satisfaction.

  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets for the government segment.

  • Prepare regular sales reports, market analyses, and forecasts.

  • Represent Al Habtoor City Hotels at trade shows, networking events, and client meetings.

  • Mentor and support junior sales team members as required.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on government accounts.

  • Established network and strong relationships within UAE government entities is highly preferred.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Fluency in English is required;

  • Arabic language skills are a strong advantage. Proficiency in Sales Processes and achieving Sales targets Strong skills in Customer Satisfaction and Account Management Experience in Business

  • Planning and strategic execution Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to work on-site in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field preferred
