Roles & Responsibilities
Market Intelligence: Perform detailed analysis of the local industry landscape. This involves examining regulatory frameworks for water and gas sectors, assessing market needs, monitoring competitor activities, and mapping out distribution networks. You will be required to produce regular analytical reports to guide strategic decisions for the central management team.
Business Development: Take the initiative to source and engage with key local clients. This includes government bodies overseeing water and gas utilities, engineering firms, and distribution partners. Your goal is to forge and sustain reliable business connections with these entities.
Market Operations: Support the central team in managing overseas business activities. Your role will cover local brand building efforts, tracking sales orders, and liaising to ensure effective after-sales service coordination.
Product Feedback: Gather on-the-ground opinions and recommendations regarding our smart metering solutions. It is crucial to relay this data promptly to the technical and sales departments at the main office to drive product refinement and better alignment with local requirements.
Ad-hoc Duties: Fulfill any other tasks or special assignments as directed by the management team.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education: You should hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher. Preferred majors include Communication Engineering, Software Engineering, Automation, Marketing, International Trade, or Finance.
Language & Residency: Local nationality or a valid permanent residency permit is essential. Fluency in both the local language and English is mandatory. Candidates who can speak Mandarin will be given priority.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in market penetration, sales, or related sectors (water, gas, or smart devices) is required. Prior background specifically in the smart metering industry is considered a significant asset.
Skills: You must demonstrate sharp market acumen, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong negotiation power. The ability to independently carry out market surveys and client meetings is a must.
Work Style: The role involves remote work, so you must be highly self-driven with robust time management and execution skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently without direct supervision.
Attitude: We are looking for someone with a high level of professionalism and a collaborative mindset. You should be adaptable to our corporate values and eager to develop your career alongside the organization.
Logistics: You must have your own equipment suitable for remote work. Additionally, personal transportation (a car or motorcycle) is required, and you must be well-acquainted with local traffic conditions and the business environment.
