Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Orchestrate the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to exit, ensuring a seamless experience for all school staff.
 - Develop and implement HR policies and procedures specific to the educational environment, ensuring compliance with labor laws and school board regulations.
 - Manage and resolve employee relations issues, fostering a positive and productive work environment that aligns with the school's mission.
 - Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process for teachers and staff, attracting and retaining top talent for the school.
 - Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring fairness, competitiveness, and adherence to budgetary constraints.
 - Lead performance management processes, including evaluations, goal setting, and professional development opportunities to support staff growth.
 - Manage employee data and records, maintaining accurate and confidential information in compliance with privacy regulations.
 - Provide guidance and support to school administrators and employees on HR-related matters, offering expert advice and solutions.
 - Handle employee investigations and disciplinary actions, ensuring fairness, consistency, and compliance with school policies and legal requirements.
 - Stay current on HR trends and best practices, proactively identifying opportunities to improve HR processes and enhance the employee experience.
 
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
 - Holds a professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or similar) to demonstrate HR expertise.
 - Has 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with specific experience in the education sector preferred.
 - Demonstrates a solid understanding of employment law and regulations, ensuring compliance in all HR practices.
 - Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
 - Showcases excellent organizational and time-management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
 - Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite, with strong data analysis and reporting skills.
 - Demonstrates a strong work ethic and the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
 - Exhibits a passion for education and a commitment to supporting the mission and values of the school.
 - Ability to speak and write in English fluently is mandatory, knowledge of other languages is a plus.
