Roles & Responsibilities
Tether is seeking a Blockchain Expansion Manager to drive strategic growth initiatives across Tether s blockchain partner ecosystem. This role sits within the Blockchain Expansion function and focuses on building and managing high-impact relationships with blockchain foundations while executing strategic projects that expand the real-world adoption and utility of Tether assets.
The Blockchain Expansion Manager will work closely with blockchain partners to design and deliver initiatives that meaningfully grow Tether s asset usage through practical, real-world use cases. This role requires strong partnership management skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to execute complex projects across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, operates with autonomy, and brings structure and rigor to high-impact growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
Manage and deepen strategic relationships with blockchain foundations and ecosystem partners.br> Act as the primary point of contact for assigned blockchain partners, ensuring alignment between partner objectives and Tether s strategic priorities.
Design and execute high-impact growth projects in collaboration with blockchain partners to drive adoption of Tether assets through real-world use cases.
Think strategically about how Tether can work with blockchain ecosystems to create scalable, sustainable projects that expand asset usage and circulation.
Coordinate and manage cross-functional initiatives involving regional expansion, economics, marketing, and other internal teams.
Track, manage, and report on project progress, outcomes, and effectiveness, ensuring initiatives deliver against defined objectives.
Identify opportunities to improve execution efficiency, project structure, and partner outcomes.
Operate with a high degree of autonomy, taking initiative to identify new opportunities and drive them forward.
Support internal leadership with clear updates, insights, and recommendations based on partner and project performance.
Desired Candidate Profile
Mandatory
Proven experience in partnership or ecosystem management, ideally within crypto, fintech, or technology.
Strong track record of managing high-impact, strategic growth projects from concept through execution.
Excellent organisational skills with a strong high level of attention to detail.
Ability to track, manage, and optimise multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate ideas into executable projects.
Experience working cross-functionally with teams such as expansion, economics, marketing, or product.
Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and operate effectively in a remote, global environment.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.br> br
Preferred
Experience working with blockchain foundations or Layer 1 / Layer 2 ecosystems.
Familiarity with stablecoins, blockchain infrastructure, or real-world blockchain use cases.
Experience operating in fast-growing or unstructured environments.
