Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Installation & Validation: Set up new equipment, perform Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ). Maintenance: Conduct preventive (PM), predictive, and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues across various instrument types. Calibration: Perform routine calibration to ensure accuracy and compliance. Documentation: Accurately record all activities in CMMS, following Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Customer Support: Train users, provide technical guidance, and manage customer expectations. Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to safety (OSHA) and quality standards (cGMP, ISO 17025). Process Improvement: Suggest and implement upgrades or changes to enhance equipment performance and lab efficiency. Collaboration: Work with R&D, Process Development, and Operations teams.
Desired Candidate Profile
Technical: Proficiency with electronics, mechanics, vacuum systems, and specific lab technologies (e.g., genomics, analytical chemistry). Soft Skills: Problem-solving, communication, customer focus, attention to detail, and teamwork. Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with cGMP, ISO, CAP, CLIA standards. Experience: Hands-on experience with lab instruments (centrifuges, liquid handlers, sequencers, etc.).
