Roles & Responsibilities

About the Position:

Wynn Al Marjan Island is looking for a Shift Manager Card Games to join resort s Card Games team.

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Supervise all poker operations during assigned shifts

  • Ensure compliance with local gaming laws, internal controls, and company policies

  • Lead and coach gaming specialists and support staff to maintain high performance and morale

  • Monitor game activity, seating lists, and table rotations

  • Make accurate and consistent floor decisions during gameplay

  • Handle customer complaints and resolve disputes professionally

  • Open and close games as needed, ensuring proper documentation

  • Maintain integrity and security of all games, chips, currency, and equipment

  • Track player activity and assist with promotions or tournaments

  • Collaborate with other departments (Security, Surveillance, Cage, HR) to ensure smooth operations

  • Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching

  • Prepare shift reports and communicate key updates to senior management

Desired Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in poker operations.

  • Thorough knowledge of poker rules, variations, and procedures

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Must be at least 21 years old

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required gaming licenses or work cards

  • Conflict resolution and decision-making under pressure

  • Familiarity with poker game management systems

  • Customer service excellence

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
