Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
1.1. Colleague Relations Support
1.1.1. Act as the first point of contact for colleague relations matters across stores, distribution, and office locations.
1.1.2. Ensure consistent and transparent handling of grievances, disciplinary actions, and appeals.
1.1.3. Conduct regular store and site visits to assess work culture, colleague well-being, and policy compliance.
1.1.4. Provide coaching to line managers on effective conflict resolution and fair decision-making.
1.1.5. Maintain an updated database of colleague relations cases, ensuring closure within defined timelines.
1.2. Colleague Engagement
1.2.1. Support and execute the annual engagement calendar, including pulse surveys, skip-level meetings, focus groups, and engagement campaigns.
1.2.2. Analyze engagement feedback to identify improvement areas, prepare reports, and track action plans.
1.2.3. Coordinate engagement and wellness initiatives that enhance morale, inclusivity, and belonging.
1.2.4. Recognize and highlight best practices and engagement success stories from stores and teams.
1.3. Retention & Exit Management
1.3.1. Conduct exit interviews, analyze data to identify attrition trends, and recommend corrective actions.
1.3.2. Develop proactive retention initiatives, especially for critical frontline roles.
1.3.3. Support implementation of early-warning indicators for disengagement or absenteeism.
1.4. Orientation & Onboarding
1.4.1. Conduct engaging orientation sessions for new colleagues and ensure onboarding completion within defined TAT.
1.4.2. Collect feedback from new joiners to continuously improve the onboarding experience.
1.4.3. Reinforce values and culture during induction to ensure early assimilation.
1.5. Policy & Compliance
1.5.1. Support periodic policy reviews and ensure communication of updates across all locations.
1.5.2. Ensure full compliance with local labour law, company policies, and audit requirements.
1.5.3. Partner with HR Operations to ensure all disciplinary, engagement, and exit documentation are audit-ready.
1.6. Performance Management
1.6.1. Support the end-to-end performance appraisal cycle, ensuring goal-setting, reviews, and evaluations are completed on time.
1.6.2. Assist managers in addressing performance issues constructively and implementing performance improvement plans.
1.6.3. Consolidate appraisal results, analyze performance trends, and support calibration discussions.
1.7. Rewards & Recognition
1.7.1. Administer Rewards and Recognition (R&R) programs, ensuring fairness, inclusivity, and alignment with business priorities.
1.7.2. Coordinate recognition events, communication campaigns, and success stories for internal channels.
1.7.3. Monitor participation levels and maintain recognition dashboards.
1.8. Data, Reporting & Analytics
1.8.1. Prepare monthly and quarterly dashboards on grievances, engagement, attrition, and performance compliance.
1.8.2. Analyze trends and propose insights for management action.
1.8.3. Leverage HR data to identify “hot spots” requiring intervention (e.g., high turnover or low engagement units).
1.9. HR Initiatives & Culture Projects
1.9.1. Support the rollout of organizational culture change initiatives and colleague experience projects.
1.9.2. Collaborate on company-wide campaigns related to values, inclusion, recognition, and continuous improvement.
1.9.3. Champion the CARE values and ensure they are reflected in all colleague interactions.
Desired Candidate Profile
1.1. Masters/ bachelor’s in human resources or relevant degree (Business Administration/ Organizational Psychology)
1.2. 3–5 years of experience in employee / colleague relations, preferably within retail, FMCG, or distribution.
1.3. Understanding of UAE Labor law is mandatory
1.4. Certifications such as SHRM/ CIPD/ NLP will be an added advantage
1.5. Experience in engagement surveys, data analytics, and policy interpretation preferred.
