VIVA Entertainment is the leading distributor of boxed media, inclusive of movies, games, music, and toys in the Middle East. Founded in the year 1974, the company was originally christened Vanilla Music. VIVA Entertainment is based out of Jebel Ali Free Zone in Dubai, UAE and has further sales offices in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Lebanon and Egypt. Its pan gulf presence is the proof of its stupendous success.


The company presents customers with movies of all the major media houses such as Walt Disney, Universal Studios, Warner Brothers, Paramount, MGM, Twentieth Century Fox, and Sony Pictures amongst others. It also represents some of the top independent studios like Dreamworks, BBC, National Geographic, Aardman and HIT Entertainment. In 2010 the company expanded its footprints to gaming industry and entered into distribution of some of the most well known games such as Tomb Raider, Grand Theft Auto and Game of Thrones. VIVA has exclusive distribution agreement with leading toy companies like Moose Toys, Mattel and Tonka which reflects the kind of influence and reputation that it enjoys in this space. It was in 2012 that VIVA entered the Toy distribution business and now dominates the entire market.
